PKI’s Fake Accusation
During PKI’s existence, they not only simply ki*l many people, they also tortu*re, without exception adults or children. They can arbitrarily detain people as political prisoners without any clear reason.
One of the forms of torture used is called the “Ayat Kursi” where come from an ayah from Al-Quran called “Ayah al-Kursi” as the form of their blasphemy to Islam. Kursi wich means chair, was used as an instrument of tortu*re by being placed on top of a lying down prisoner.
The four legs of the chair will push and crush the bone/bodyparts of the person below, while the person sitting in it will bouncing up and down.
Many cases are the men who fakely accused against PKI will be ki*led and then buried in a huge pit or thrown into valley. They will be ordered to line up while their bodies are tied together, while the person in front will be shot and fall, pulling the others down with him into the depth.
Many case also the accused men will be ki*led then just dumped in a river. Which left some big river in Java turning red because so many blood, creating terror due to many corpses along the riverbank.
No one dared to clean it up for fear of being labeled anti-PKI. People are afraid to go near the river, people don’t want to eat fish, disrupting agricultural water activities, and affecting the community’s water supply.
Many woman and underage girls fakely accused against communism, who actually turned into sex slaves. If their husband or father disobeys, they will be immediately tortured or killed.

PKI’s Cruelty
Several sources describe how the PKI spread terror by publicly displaying their acts of tortu*re in front of civilians. A family considered to be rebels, sta*bed with a bamboo to each other. Making a human skewer of father, mother, and 2 of their child displayed in public.
A child born from the sex slav*es, will be used as their satisfaction of excitement object. The infants and toddlers also got tortu*red and ki*led.
Some reference detailed, that baby and toddlers got thrown into the air and then sta*bed with a sharp object, such as a bayonet while in mid-air. Some were simply left to hit the ground real hard after baing throwed, shattered their weak bodyparts.
Even worse, they doing it in front of the mother who later used as their sex slav*es again. They did all of this evil act while laughing, joking around about it, high, and drunk, — even after, they partied and dancing, on the top of the blood and dead bodies.
Some sex slav*e who unable to withstand the pressure, suffered psychological and mental breakdowns, driving them to madness and even suic*de.
Apart from the stories mentioned above, there are many other stories of cruelty by the PKI. All of that is too taboo to talk about and it ends up being left to become buried history.
Rest In Peace for All Victims.
The Controversy Over the Dissolution of the PKI
Following the G30S/PKI tragedy in 1965, the president decided to dissolve the PKI and ban communism in a manner that sparked a prolonged debate.
The government, together with the people and civil society organizations, hunted down communists people to torture and kill them without legal trial. Around 500,000 and 1 million people were killed, some of them may have been wrongly accused of being members of the PKI.
Despite the PKI’s atrocities, some people believe that due process must be upheld, because accusing innocent people of being PKI members without court evidence is inhumane. However, many Indonesian justify it because it was a matter of national urgency.
Conclussion
The history of the Communist Party of Indonesia and the events surrounding Indonesian mass atrocities are proof that the devil can walk the earth in human form. Stories of fear, and trauma---have left deep scars across generations, although the details of the cruelty are less explained.
Even decades later, the sense of terror associated with this period continues to shape public perception, political narratives, and social attitudes. For many Indonesians, it is not just history, but a lingering memory passed down through families and communities.
Understanding this slightly detailed stories requires more than repeating one-sided accounts ---it calls for critical reflection, empathy for all victims, and a commitment to historical accuracy. By acknowledging the full complexity of what happened, Indonesia can continue moving toward reconciliation, ensuring that such cycles of violence and fear are not repeated in the future.
