What Does “Bocil Kematian” Mean?

The phrase comes from two Indonesian terms. The first one is “Bocil” which a short for "bocah kecil" in ENglish means "kid" or "child".

And the second one is "kematian" in English translated as "Death". So it's translation of "bocil kematian" is like "deathly kid" or "troublesome kid".

In context, it refers to a child whose actions often cause problems, chaos, or failure.

Origin of the Term

The uprising of the term because Windah Basudara, a well-known Indonesian gaming YouTuber and streamer.

During his live streams on YouTube, Windah often interacted with viewers—many of whom were young and liked to prank or troll him.

In some streams, the viewers will give misleading instruction during windah game stram. These action often caused the game progress failed and start from previous game stage.

Windah respond either laughing jokingly or screaming mad (when excessive prank), then called them “bocil kematian” aka. "deathly child". The child who cause death of the game character.
